Gear for the hours that count.
The first 40 hours of flight training are the most expensive and the most intense hours most pilots will ever fly. The gear you carry into them should work every time, so you can spend your attention on the airplane.

It started with one kneeboard.
Destination Departure began in Northern California with one product: an aluminum kneeboard sized for the trainers students actually fly. Foggles, a rotating plotter and a replacement strap came later.
Today it's run from Ontario, Canada. Orders ship to students across the US through Amazon. Our gear has more than 1,000 Amazon ratings, and we read the reviews. The bad ones especially. When a pilot tells us something could be better, it goes on the list for the next production run.
A few rules we stick to.
Made for the training flight
Every product starts with a real moment in a lesson: copying a clearance, a hood-time recovery, plotting a first cross-country.
Honest labels
No made-up certifications, no borrowed brand names. If we say it does something, it does.
Sold through Amazon
We sell through Amazon so you get fast delivery and simple returns wherever you're training.
